“Liew’s clarion call for a more open, tolerant and transparent political system is measured, fair and insightful…a compelling voice for the Reformasi Generation…”.
Who can speak for the Reformasi generation of Malaysia? Liew Chin Tong has taken up the mantle in this volume of articles.
The present volume consists of articles and commentaries that have been compiled from a host of publications. In the author’s own words, it is a collection of the reflections and views of a humble student of political history, and an active participant in Malaysia’s present movement for change. The overriding and powerful message delivered is that a bright future belongs to the young. Since the older generation of Malaysia has failed to provide for that future, the young have to secure it for themselves.
