DAP’s national organising secretary Teresa Kok said the one-day national convention is themed Change Now, Save Malaysia.
“We’ll also look at what we have to do for the general election,” said Teresa who is the Kinrara state rep and Seputeh MP said.
Teresa said the convention is significant because it will be the last convention before the 13th general election.
Elaborating further, DAP international secretary Liew Chin Tong said: “It will outline the direction and role of the party in Malaysian politics.”
“It is also in line with the theme,” added Liew who is also Bukit Bendera MP.
The convention held in Dewan Jubli Perak, Shah Alam will be attended by 2,021 delegates.
