No word can offer any comfort in the face of such calamity like the 11th March earthquake and tsunami in Japan except to say that our prayers and sympathies are with the people of Japan.
The Democratic Action Party is expressing its sympathies and condolences to the people of Japan. A letter expressing such sentiments has been sent to the Japanese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
The DAP and the Malaysian people felt keenly the losses to humanities suffered by Japan in this catastrophe occurrence and are shocked to learn its multi-fold repercussions including blast at a nuclear plant.
May the people of Japan be strong and overcome the challenges brought by the nature. May our sincere wishes bring hope to a devastated nation.
