“Indeed the world is witnessing unprecedented changes previously thought impossible. Who would have foreseen the Arab Spring? Who would have predicted the damage of the March 11th earthquake in Japan and more importantly its lasting impact on the way the world thinks about nuclear energy.
As we approach a new year, we can conclude that the world will likely remember 2011 as we remember 1968 and 1989. In each of those years, the world changed beyond recognition.”
